Affiliation Fees & Sports Awards 2011/12

The documentation you need to affiliate to Sutherland Sports Council for 2011/12 can be downloaded from the Forms & Documents page. Even if your club pays annual fees by Standing Order, it is essential the paperwork is returned so we have up-to-date contact details for your club.
In addition, the copies of all forms required to make nominations for our various sports awards are also available in this section. Please take the time to nominate people operating within your club who you think are worthy of recognition. We need you to nominate in the following categories:
Junior Excellence in Sport - The person nominated must be under 16 years of age on 1 March 2011 and must be resident in Sutherland. The award must go to an individual who has shown promise and commitment to sport in the last year.
Excellence in Sport - individuals will have to demonstrate that they have reached a standard of excellence within their sport. At least one of the following should be achieved: selection for National training squad/team, North of Scotland Champion or within top 50 National (NGB) rankings.
Service to Sport - for the best sports volunteer in the district. The award must go to an individual, administrator, coach or official for their voluntary contribution to local sport over a lengthy period of time.
All forms should be returned by Friday 6 May!
