Affiliation Fees & Sports Awards 2012

It’s that time of year again folks.  You must renew your membership of Sutherland Sports Council by Thursday 31 May 2012.  The forms required can also be downloaded from here within the Forms & Documents section on the right hand side of the page.  Membership stays the same price – £15 for clubs and £5 for individual members.

In addition, there are the nomination forms for the various sports awards which Sutherland Sports Council (SSC) will be awarding this year.  The awards ceremony is likely to take place in August but please note all nominations should be sent back to myself at the address above by Thursday 31 May 2012.

In line with many other areas, the funding the Sutherland Sports Council receives from Highland Council has been reduced by 20%. The Highland Council guidelines have not changed so applicants should be aware of the tightening constraints on the committee. Having said that proper consideration will be given to all applications by qualifying clubs and individuals.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued membership of SSC and would strongly urge you to nominate people worthy of gaining the enclosed awards.
